The Mello Outs are a surf guitar/indie alternative rock band based out of Portland Oregon. They combine quiet, intricate, lush, and loud with such fluidity that makes it all seem effortless. Their signature sound has heavy emphasis on guitar effects with solid backing rhythm.
The Mello Outs played their first show in April of 2003 at the legendary Satyricon Showcase Showdown Battle of the Bands, in which they took 1st place.
